Querying map Points within Polygons

Hi there, is there a way I can query what polygon boundary a point sits within using Power BI Desktop so I can filter on the polygon areas within the report?  I have Lat longs for points and have created a map for those.

@TWarfe75,

You are able to create slicers using fields of your table, and then use slicers to filter the map visual. Does this method meet your requirement?

Hi there Thanks for your reply.  I will use a slicer once I have the data available to me.   I want to query what polygon a point is located in.  This a spatial GIS function, not sure if Power BI can do this??

@TWarfe75,

I am afraid that it is not possible to query points ib polygon as you described.

Lydia
