Query editor: Remove duplicates is removing non-duplicates

Hello

I am trying to remove duplicate rows based on one specific column and it's set of values. However, when i use the remove duplicates tool, it removes more rows than there are duplicates.

When i try the keep duplicates function, it only keeps those rows that are duplicated based on the specific column I have highlighted. However, when I try remove duplicates, it removes far more rows.

I have extracted to excel and excel correctly removes the duplicates, so I am not sure what the problem is?

  • GES_1609 , IF you want to remove duplicate rows .Then select all columns or do not select anything and then do it.

Or select a set of columns, based on which you want to delete duplicates

I have selected a single column to base my duplicates. I have even tried including other columns to help but I am still having the above issue

If the column is in text format, I recommend choosing Add custom column using "Text. Proper" and then the column name. This should help fix the issue
