Query: Resizing Heatmap to Fit Selected Area

Hello Power BI Community,

I'm currently working on designing a heatmap visualization in Power BI, and I'm facing challenges with resizing the heatmap to fit the selected area.

Description of the Issue:
I have a heatmap visual in Power BI, and I want to resize it to fit a specific area on my report canvas. However, I'm unable to adjust the size of the heatmap to perfectly align with the selected area. The heatmap seems to have limited drag capacity, and I'm unable to resize it as desired.

Expected Outcome:
I expect to be able to resize the heatmap visual freely so that it perfectly fits the selected area on the report canvas.

Current Steps Taken:
I have attempted to resize the heatmap by clicking and dragging the edges of the visual, but the resizing functionality appears to be limited.

Request for Assistance:
Could you please provide guidance or suggestions on how to resize the heatmap visual to fit the selected area accurately? Are there any specific settings or techniques I should be aware of to achieve this?

Your assistance and insights on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,
Manoj Prabhakar

Hi Manoj.

This is a common limitation with Table & Matrix visualisations.

You will need to go into the Visual Format options of your heatmap, and adjust the text size of your values, or the 'Row Padding' option. Those are unfortunately your only options for resizing the visual vertically, as far as I am aware.
