Query Append using Calculated column

Hello!

I have appended Table 2 (contains calculated TV programme ratings from one TV channel) to 'master' Table 1 (contains TV programme ratings from many TV channels). Although data from all fields append normally, I cannot get the ratings figures from the calculated column in Table 2 to show in the appended table.

I have used the same column name, but I guess the issue is that the calculated column is not available in the Query Editor, hence the numbers are not transferring through.

Is there a painless way to get the figures from Table 2 to transfer to Table 1?

Many thanks in advance,

George.

@Anonymous Unfortunately the only way currently is to create new calculated column in table 2.

Thank you both for your responses. I'll live in the hope that Microsoft will enable this some time soon! Smiley Happy

You may try to append in DAX. Check UNION Function (DAX) and CROSSJOIN Function (DAX).
