My data source in Microsoft Dynamics accounting software.
In one of the tables there is a text column "Description"
I was looking at the advanced query editor for a solution to my issue
What I am attempting to do is, when the data is refreshed, exclude from the data refresh rows with particular text entries.
Is this possible in the advanced editor and what would the code look like.
Solved! Go to Solution.
In Power Query, look for the dropdown in the column header for 'Description'. You can investigate the Text Filters section. See if one of the options is what you're after.
You can then examine and edit the Advanced Code that is created as a result (if required)
It's easier to use the dropdown when starting out.

Genius thanks. Worked like a charm. Will have to remember this approach.
