Published PowerBi report does not automatically refresh?

Hi, 

PowerBI newbie here. 

I use PowerBi report on our sharepoint intarnet.

 I usualy publish the powerBi report for a link. However the report doesn't automatically refresh after scheduling a refresh? The data is froma  list on sahrepoint. I am not sure why the report doesn't pick up newly entered data? 

Any help appreciated.

Hi @ajames95 ,

This may have different situations:

First, need to understand: the Dataset, Report, and dashboard are separate objects and are not all immediately refreshed after the dataset. It is in order. If the dataset refreshes, it is likely it will be 10-15 before the report, and then the Dashboard.
