Hi all,
I have a project dashboard I am setting up and i am struggling to get start and end dates on 1 row.
Below is a simpified version of my issue where I have mutliple lines for the same task;
Task Start date End Date
ABC | 1/07/2021 | 31/07/2021 |
ABC | 1/08/2021 | 31/08/2021 |
ABC | 1/09/2021 | 30/09/2021 |
ABCD | 1/09/2021 | 30/09/2021 |
What I would like to achive is having one line per task, something more inline the table below
TASK | START DATE | END DATE |
ABC | 1/07/2021 | 30/09/2021 |
ABCD | 1/09/2021 | 30/09/2021 |
How do I achieve this in Power query?
Thanks In advance
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can use the Group By feature in the query editor. Group by the Task column and then add two aggregations with the min of the Start date column and max of the End date column.
