I have a data set that I would like to compare by time, but I have to calculate each x and y position for the 7 points I would like to display. Here is an example set of the data:
| Date | Discharge Lifter A | Discharge Lifter B | Discharge Lifter E | Discharge Lifter Nail Length | Discharge Lifter P1 | Discharge Lifter P2 | Discharge Lifter P3 | Discharge Lifter P4 | Discharge Lifter P5 |
| 1/02/2020 | 30 | 45 | 25 | 89 | 159 | 231 | 247 | 250 | 246 |
| 7/03/2019 | 1 | 70 | 57 | 115 | 145 | 232 | 240 | 235 | 220 |
I calculate my X/Y points as these:
Point | X-1/02/2020 | Y-1/02/2020 | X-7/03/2019 | Y-7/03/2019 |
| 1 | -30 | 44 | -1 | 45 |
| 2 | 5 | 141 | 34 | 153 |
| 3 | 40 | 213 | 69 | 240 |
| 4 | 75 | 229 | 104 | 248 |
| 5 | 110 | 232 | 139 | 243 |
| 6 | 145 | 228 | 174 | 228 |
| 7 | 180 | 64 | 209 | 58 |
and I can graph it that to be able to compare one against the other.
How could I do this in Power BI?
Hi , @nawillia711
Maybe you need to convert the data table into the following structure first.

Yes, I do need to do that, but how do I get it into that form?
@nawillia711 it is not clear from your post how does your raw data look like? Is the first table shows the raw data? What are 6 profile and what are the business rule to calculate x and y

Some formatting didn't carry over from excel. I have updated the post to account for that. It is 7 x/y points that are calculated. For point 1 the x value is -Discharge Lifter A. Every other x point is 35 added to that. For the Y positions the first one is the Nail Length-Discharge Lifter B. For points 2-6 the y position is the Nail Length+Discharge Lifter P[1-6]-107 and for the final point it is Naile Length-Discharge Lifter E.
@nawillia711 sorry I'm having a hard time following what we are trying to do here. I would recommend putting the data and calculations in the sample excel file and share excel file here, it will be easier to understand.
