Product Team Introduction Philosophy

I got a prompt introducing Power BI while working on an existing collaborative PPT deck.  I was invited to learn more and expected to either told how to learn more or taken to a dedicated web page for a demo to view later.  Instead your plugin deployed over my deck demanding a URL to analyze.  I understand what was being asked for, but doing it over something I'm doing collaborative work with is stupid.  It took me five minutes to figure out how to delete Power BI and resume working on my deck.  Why do you think this is a good way to demo your product?  I'm now very suspicious of what could be a useful product.

    Hello,

Someone you are collaborating with probably embeded (intentionally or unintentionally) a Power BI to the .pptx file. You may not have adequate permissions or software installed to view the Power BI.

Is there something the forum can specifically help you with?

    Hi BestGravy

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is understandable that such a situation could be frustrating, especially during a collaborative session.

To assist the community in providing more targeted support, could you please clarify the specific assistance you are seeking? Are you trying to remove the embedded Power BI content, understand how it was added, or looking for guidance on how to properly explore Power BI demos in a non-disruptive manner?

Thank you for being part of Fabric Community Forum.

    Regards,
    Karpurapu D,

I was frustrated that the product was imposed on me like this.  I clicked on the link to provide general feedback to the dev team about the user experience and was put into this forum.  I've worked on dev teams and know this is a way to get feedback from a widely dispersed user audience, but that approach is inadequate.

At this point, I've worked around my initial issue and there's nothing further.
