Good morning, I have a dashboard where I use the automatic YoY and MoM time intelligence measures. When I take part-time periods, that is, for example, the advance of the current month, the measures instead of comparing on the same partial period, compare on a closed month. For example, if I take from 08/01/2024 to 08/19/2024, it compares with the FULL month of August 2023 instead of the partial period. The same happens with the MoM, compare versus the FULL July month instead of the partial advance. Does anyone know how this can be solved?
I leave you with the automatic formula of the YoY:
Hi @JosefinaMoneta ,
I am a little bit puzzled because I created my own test data for testing based on the DAX you provided, but I found that your DAX works perfectly fine, here are my test results:
Sample data:
Relationship:
I use the same DAX as you provide:
But the Output is right:
((4+4+4+4)-(2+2+2+2))/(2+2+2+2)=100%
((4+4+4+4+4)-(2+2+2+2+2+2+2))/(2+2+2+2+2+2+2)=42.857%
If you can, could you please provide us with your sample data, without it it is simply impossible to see which side has the problem with DAX alone.
Best Regards,
Dino Tao
