Problematically see all users who have access to reports
Is there any way to report who has been shared with each report? I know we can check manually, but there are many reports and want a way to audit this effectively.
I know there is the usage report, but this only shows users who have viewed, so will miss those with access who haven't logged on.
I was thinking the REST API, but cannot find where I could see access
Thanks
Hi Anonymous ,
Based on my research, we can only use Get Group Users api to Returns a list of users that have access to the specified workspace, but if the report are shared by share button, we can try to use The Power BI activity log and the unified Office 365 audit log. to trace the share event, but it only record after enable and keep 90/30 days event. Sorry for that, but We also not found other build-in effective solution to meet your requirement, perhaps you can vote to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/37449829-export-a-list-of-shared-users-for-a-dashboard-repo
