I have a Power BI report that works without issue that I would like to share as a template.
I am using Power BI Version: 2.128.952.0 64-bit (April 2024).
When I open the .pbit template file I have created on another computer (or even the exact computer I created it on) the new file shows errors in the queries.
For example one query step
"= Table.ReplaceValue(#"Expanded ENROLMENTS(today)#(lf)",null,false,Replacer.ReplaceValue,{"CURRENTLY_ON_ROLL"})"
now shows the error
"Expression.Error: The column 'ENROLMENTS(today) ' of the table wasn't found."
If I remove that step and replace it with the same step it works but then I get another error!
I know it's not a version issue as I'm opening the template on the same computer I created it on.
I've also tried repeating the process on another computer with a fresh install of Power BI and had exactly the same problem
Any ideas!?
Hi, @GeekMoore
After testing, it did not reproduce your problem for the time being, you can share the pbix file without sensitive data for us to generate the problematic pbit file.
