Problem with matrix

Hello together, I'm facing following problem: I want to create a table/matrix like this: column: Year (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) Values: Sales (2Mio$ etc.) But the Sales are divided into B2B & B2C. So I need tow seperate rows in the table/matrix. Have you got any ideas? Kind regards!

Hi @Power_MN ,

If your data consist of this value then you just simply need to turn on the option for show on rows.

Matrix setup:

  • Column: Years
  • Values: B2B, B2C
  • Turn on Show on rows

Hi @Power_MN ,

This depends on your data model, but if you have a table with the setup below you just need to add the values into a matrix visualization:

  • Table
    • Year
    • Sales
    • Category

The category is your B2B & B2C

Your matrix should be done with the following format:

  • Columns: Year
  • Rows: Category
  • Value: Sales

If this does not work or the information is not in the format I have provided can you share some more insights on your model?

Can you please share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.

If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.

Regards

Miguel Félix
