Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble with the quick calc feature that was introduced back in May. When I first downloaded that update the quick calc option worked normally, I made some sick visuals thanks to it. Now whenever I try to make a Quick Calc (Percentage of grand total) I get the following error after copying the details of the unexpected error:
"Cannot read property 'key' of undefined"
I tried copying my pbix file and testing it in a differente computer but still the same problem. Tried building the model again in a new pbix file but the problem is still there. Now I can't even make the Percentage of Grand Total to tables that already had that value.
What could be the problem? Thanks guys.
Solved! Go to Solution.
After PROPERLY unninstalling and installing again the quick calc works again.
Remember folks, unninstall, restart and install again.
Thanks!
Hi pvaldiviag,
>>Now I can't even make the Percentage of Grand Total to tables that already had that value.
I can’t reproduce your issue, it works on myside, could you please provide more detail info about this?(e.g. screenshots, test pbix file, the version of your power bi desktop, etc.…)
Below is my test file (I build a simple table and active the ‘quick cal’ function on amount column)

Hey @Anonymous
Looks like you are trying to reproduce the steps with a regular value. I'm trying to do it with a calculated metric and this has worked for me before.
Also, the quick calc form is different when you use it on a measure.
Example
With a measure
Ventas = CALCULATE(SUM(Metricas[Monto]),'Terminos Financieros'[TF_id]=25)
With a regular value
EXAMPLE when it was working:
POWERBI Version
If you need more information please let me know.
Thanks in advance
After PROPERLY unninstalling and installing again the quick calc works again.
