Problem: Connection between Power BI and QuickBase

Hey all,

we tried to create a connection between PowerBi and Quickbase.

Although we entered correct URL to our application and user token, unfortunately it did not work.

Every times we got the following error message within PowerBI:

Do you have a solution or an idea why this is not working?

Hi, @LeoW97

Based on the error message you provided, it seems that there may be an issue with the authentication or authorization process between Power BI and Quickbase. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Double-check that the URL and user token you entered are correct and match the credentials you use to access Quickbase.

2. Check if there are any firewall or security settings that may be blocking the connection between Power BI and Quickbase. You may need to add an exception or whitelist the IP address of the Power BI service.

3. Try using a different authentication method, such as OAuth or SAML, to connect to Quickbase. This may require additional configuration on the Quickbase side.

4. Ensure that the Quickbase API is enabled. You can check this by logging into Quickbase and going to the "Manage Applications" page. From there, select the application you are trying to connect to and click on "Settings". Under "API Access", make sure that "Allow API Access" is checked.
