Privacy Level on specific folders for file source?

I have multiple excel files in the same directory. Is it possible to set the privacy level on the directory instead of each file? The dialog seems to offer the file or the root (c:\) but not the directory the file resides in.

Currently available options are root or specific file as you pointed out. One workaround would be to change your queries so that they connect to the folder path and set the privacy level, then set your queries back to the right file path.
