Preventing Server Report from being opened in Desktop

When you publish a report on the server, there is an option towards the top of the page that allows people with more than just user rights to open the report in desktop.

Is there a way to publish a report without allowing this to happen?  Take away the option to open in desktop.

I am not a full admin but I have rights to publish reports in the server and add users, refresh schedule times, etc.

Thanks

@skang357 are you talking about report server or app.powerbi.com? Can you share screenshot to show what exactly you are referring to?

I am referring to report server.  Our company publishes reports on pbi.xxx.com

Oh and don't have access to our server page at the moment.  But when we publish a report on there, if you have report publishing rights, then there is a button towards the top of the report that says "open in desktop".   I want to disable this feature.

@skang357 I think you need to post your question on this reportserver forum. I don't have much experience in RS so cannot assist.

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
