Hello,
I have a table with employees data: Emp.ID, salary, average salary.
Emp.ID | Salary | Group Average Salary |
100 | 1200 | 1500 |
180 | 1500 | 1800 |
230 | 2000 | 1700 |
I would like to present a visualization chart with the option to search for a specific "Emp.Id" and present only its' employee "salary" and "group average salary" NOT within all other employees' data.
E.g.
I would like to search for Emp.Id 180
And present a clustered column chart with salary 1500 and average salary 1800:
How to do it?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Use a slicer for searching Emp.ID
Then write two measures
Salary=selectedvalue('Table'[Salary])
GroupAvgSalary= selectedvalue('Table'[Group Average Salary])
Use these measures in clustered column chart's values field.

Emp.Id - type number.
In slicer, I need to have a search and it works only with text.
Is there an option to use your solution via table and not slicer ?
You can use this slicer for searching a number https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104380859?tab=Overview
Thanks a lot! It worked.
