Pre-set filter button

Hi Community,

I have a 'Comment' column in my table which contains strings 'Reconciliation Successful', 'Reconciliation Unsuccessful', 'Reconciliation Successful; Check Month End Date', and 'Reconciliation Unsuccessful; Check Month End Date'. 'Reconciliation Successful', and 'Reconciliation Successful; Check Month End Date' should be classified/group by as 'Successful'. Whereas, 'Reconciliation Unsuccessful', and 'Reconciliation Unsuccessful; Check Month End Date' should be classified/group by as 'Unsuccessful'.

I want to create radio buttons/pre-set filter button for this column that contains two buttons: 'Successful' and 'Unsuccessful'. The 'Comment' column changes everyday, and sometimes it has only 'Reconciliation Successful', and 'Reconciliation Successful; Check Month End Date'. So in this situation, I would still like to see the two buttons even if there are no 'Reconciliation Unsuccessful', and 'Reconciliation Unsuccessful; Check Month End Date' in the 'Comment' column. When I click the button "Unsuccessful", I would expect a blank table. Could this be achieved in Power BI? Thanks very much in advance!

@Yian In this scenario, create another dimension table with two rows "Successful" and "Unsuccessful" and set the relationship of this table with your regular table. In the slicer, use column from this new table and your problems will be solved, both options will be always available, and depending on what you select respective data will be shown in the visual and if there is no data the visual will be blank.
