PowerBi release 2.138.782.0 Import Issue
PowerBi release 2.138.782.0 does not allow me to import a SharePoint online list. Both the transform and import buttons are grayed out and not selectable. Is there an ETA for when this will be fixed? I have already tried clearing the PowerBi Cache and Clear permissions and tried reinstalling. All have failed to resolve this issue.
Hi DENNISG61 -The issue you’re experiencing with grayed-out “Transform” and “Import” buttons when trying to import a SharePoint Online list in Power BI has been reported by other users as well. It appears that this might be a bug in Power BI version 2.138.782.0, affecting the connection to SharePoint lists in some cases. Some users have found that permissions settings in SharePoint, especially the "Read items that were created by the user" option, can sometimes interfere with data loading in Power BI, even if the user has full control permissions.

Unfortunately, there’s no official ETA on when Microsoft will address this specific issue in an update, but you can monitor Power BI’s release notes and the Microsoft Fabric Community for any announcements on bug fixes related to SharePoint Online list connections.
Temporary you can use older version of power bi desktop
