PowerBINotAuthorizedException usign Text Analytics

Good Afternoon,

 

One of the users that i help is receiving the error message below and i cant work out what the issue is. 

Text analytics works fine on my machine (im admin though)  but not on hers, i have check the below:

  • AI workload is on in the admin settings
  • All settings in options menu are the same as mine
  • used the same spreadsheet to ensure that wasnt an issue
  • they are using the june desktop version

there are options showing in the "premium capacity used for AI insights"  but not the same one as mine ie the official capacity that the company users in not visible on the users but is on mine? im not sure how to make this visible on the users though

    DataSourcePath.2=AI.Provider/

 

 

Any other ideas?

There was a knopwn issue for text analytics but this looks to have been resolved now

Hi @Dunnes32 ,

This is a known issue and it has been addressed recently.
To work around the issue:
1. Create a new workspace with Premium per-user license in the Power BI Service portal
2. Open Transform data-Data source settings in a new Power BI Desktop session
3. Under Global permissions, select AI functions, and select the Clear Permissions button
4. Remove the permission using the Delete option
5. Load some data and invoke Text Analytics by following the instructions.

thanks for the advice but we are unable to create a PPU workspace as we have already used the trial. We are on  a premium capacity so i guess i will need to raise another ticket

I mentioned that above as it has a status of Fixed and shouldnt need to do any of the workarounds
