I have had a query about amending an exisiting report.
Briefly the query is as follows.
create a pair of user input parameters, these would be quantities, a decimal number.
then use a slicer to select two items,
I then need to create a table to display the items and the numbers. and here is where i am having an issue.
I need to multiple the price of the first item by the first parameter and the price of the second item by the second parameter and display both.
Then add a total that is the sum of the two calculations to the bottom of the table.
I had wondered if i could do this in two tables and then reference the totals in a third table as an alternative route, can you reference specific fields in a table visualtion?
I have been able to get input and create the calculations for a single item, it is that i need to do this over a number of items that is causing the issue.
This was being done previously in Excel, the hope was to avoid the data export and achieve it all in one place.
Thanks
