Hello,
I have a sharepoint list which is already set up with the right time zone, also my desktop app is set-up with the correct time zone. However when I transfer the data from SharePoint to PowerBI the conversion is not correct. For example:
SharePoint:
PowerBI is giving me this, sayinf that the UTC is +2 which ic correct by the time is with two hours less
If I do the same export from SharePoint to excel:
Which is correct, I have the correct set-up time zone in the powerBI an even with this is not importing the right data from the SharePoint.
Any ideas on how can I fix this?
Something doesn't compute here. 7:00 am +2 is 5:00 am UTC, not 9:00 am.
Please explain your setup in more detail.
Hi Ibendlin,
Exactly it doesn't compute and that's my issue. It should be 9 am and when it translate to PowerBi from Sharepoint it appears as 7 am, while exporting it to Excel get 9 am which is correct. Not sure why PowerBi is doing this. The Sharepoint has the correct time zone which is the same as the powerbi and excel and just powerBi doesn't get it right.
Thanks
The basis for the Power BI Service is UTC. The report rendering will be adjusted based on the timezone information in the users' browser.
