PowerBI desktop

Hello, I am trying to find a way to easily collaborate on a power bi report with my teammates. We are a team of 4 who are working on the same report and sometimes we are forced to wait for one person...

    MuthomiMate , You should create the dataset and publish that. and all other teammates should use that for the development of visuals.

    Visuals you can copy-paste from one file to another and merge

     

    To merge meta across file use ALM toolkit - refer to my video if needed

    You should plan using Dataflows -> Dataset -> Power bi visual file ->

Hi MuthomiMate ,

You can publish the report to a new workspace in power bi service. That way you members which have edit permissions can edit it in power bi service. After save and refresh it you can see the changes.

 

Note that to publish to new workspace, you need at least Pro liscence; members in the workspace who can edit it need at least Contributor role.
