PowerBI Projects Fail to load if a measure name starts or ends with space

I wanted to convert all datasets to PBI Projects and to put them under source control. But it seems that you can not load projects if a measure contains a space at the beginning or the end of the measure name e.g.: " Measure1" or "Measure1 ". I guess that the space characters were added by accident and they should be removed. 

However, it would be nice if there was some kind of warning while saving as .pbip
