Hi everyone,
Could I please get some help with ranking the columns? I want the end result to be like this:
Company A | Company B | Company C | Company D | Company E |
Number of Responses | Number of Responses | Number of Responses | Number of Responses | Number of Responses |
5 | 3 | 2 | 8 | 1 |
However, the columns need to be sorted by another measure ("Score") that is not used in this matrix. But if I add it into the matrix to be able to use it as a filter, it can't be simply hidden because it becomes like this:
Could anyone help with showing a table/matrix with only one measure ("Number of Response") but ranked by another measure ("Score")? Thank you very much!

Hi,
I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but some visuals like column chart, you can try to insert scroe measure into the tooltip, and then sort the visuals by tooltip value.
Or, if you want to use matrix visualization, you can try to make Values -> text wrap off and Column headers -> text wrap off.
Please check the attached file, whether it suits your requirement.
Thank you.

Hi @Jihwan_Kim ,
Thank you for your response!
I think the second method you suggested that is used on a matrix would usually work, and it probably works on yours. However, after I turned text wrap for both "column header" and "value" off and tried to minimise the "Score" column, the boundary of the column bounces back and the column is revealed again. Do you know what the problem is?
Hi,
I am not 100% sure without seeing your sample pbix file, but please try turn "auto-width" off.
Thank you for your response @JihwanKim !
I actually figured it out myself haha
The problem was solved by selecting "Switch values to row" on the Values setting on the Visual panel. Then it I can shrink the height of the matrix to hide the bottom row which is the measure I use to rank.
But thank you anyway!!
