Hi Community,
I tried to use the native HDFS Connector with Power BI Desktop (optimized for report server) - ("Hadoop Files - HDFS") with ON-PREM installation of HortonWorks to access my files in the HDFS.
As a result, I select the connector in Power BI, put the server with the right port number. The URL is OK but I have no way to pout my username and password from my HDFS folder. When I try to modify my "identification Information", I only have "Anonymous", "Windows" and "Microsoft Account".
Where or how can I use my personal authentication from my HDFS (which is not on Azure Infrastructure) ?
The credentials like username and password is not necessary. Have you input the correct server name? Please follow the steps in blog below:
