PowerBI Desktop - New Visual Calculation

Hi,

If we add a field using 'New Visual Calculation' on a table, the 'Export' button appears as inactive in the web interface.

Hello @gokhanatmaca,

İf you can use new measure, that'd be more good performance rather that new column(dax). Also, you might me be checking Power Query(Transform data side). İf you have done so many unneccesary steps, that'd be caused performance too. Every step that you made in power bı is important for performance.(Dax,PQ, Data Modelling etc.)

Kind Regards,

Hi @uzuntasgokberk

I am calculating for a new column with 'measure'. However, there is a difference between the total of the data in the column and the Total row. That's why I used the HASONEVALUE function. This caused the report to be very slow. So I need to use New Visual Calculation.

Hello @gokhanatmaca,

Using visual calculations in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

You can't export underlying data from visuals that use visual calculations or hidden fields.
