PowerBI Attrition Dashboard for Monthly and yearly

Hi All

I am trying to create an attrition monthly/year Power Dashboard.

Attrition = Total No of employee exited YTD / No of average employee for month*100

Number of average employee = (no of employee at the start of the year +  current headcount)/2

The data structure I have is:

Whenever there is a new addition or exit - I receive a current active head count report which contains basic details are Emp ID, Department, DOJ

I have another report which consists of all the exits for the company - This contains the emp id, Department, date of leaving

I want to remember the data in a combo chart - Line and column which bases on month on month attrition changes.

I have been picking my brain and getting stuck.

@Ashish_Mathur - Request your help in solving this.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Share some data to work with and show the expected result.  Share data in a format that can be pasted in an MS Excel file.  For April 2025, you would calculated average employees by taking an average of Jan 2025 and March 2025.  Is my understanding correct?
