Hi ,
I have few questions on incremental refresh.
Basically I have mysql database and retreive data via views.
1. I have client requirement to refresh few data set (tables) in every hour. I have implemented incremental refresh in those table and I couldnt see hourly refresh here.
Is their any possible ways to proceed this scenario, I have power bi pro liscence.
2. When ading parameters to incremental refresh can we add like this ?
I really dont understand how the parameters should be. What if i want to add IR after RangeStart and upcoming data (dynamic)? Is this approach is correct?
Hi, @Anonymous
Incremental refresh is not a preview feature now. It is now available for Power BI Pro, Premium, and shared subscribtions and datasets.
For incremental refresh, datasets are filtered by using Power Query date/time parameters with the reserved, case-sensitive names 'RangeStart' and 'RangeEnd'.
These parameters are used to filter the data imported into Power BI Desktop, and also to dynamically partition the data into ranges once published to the Power BI service. The parameter values are substituted by the service to filter for each partition. There's no need to set them in dataset settings in the service. Once published, the parameter values are overridden automatically by the Power BI service.
You may change the parameter to determine data which need to be loaded in Power BI Desktop. For further information, please refer to the document .
Best Regards
Allan

Can you please answer help, I still didnt get the idea of that. Im struggle from days.
Yes , I went through that documentation.
When I go to File -> Options and Settings -> Options -> Preview Features , I couldnt see option to check incremental refresh policies. Is that removed with latest version in power bi ?
