Hello Everybody,
I have an issue with Power BI desktop vs Power BI service. I have a Power BI pro account. I have a report that gets data from API's from a website and SharePoint sites and I display this in both a report and some dashboards.
The refresh on Power BI service doesn't show the same results as the refresh on Power BI desktop. Except when I publish the report to the power bi service it briefly shows the correct data, however, it reverts back to the old data on the next refresh manual or scheduled. The true data is the one reflected when refreshed in the desktop. I have already tried clearing cache and permissions and republishing but the next refresh on service changes it back to old state despite the data at source been updated .
Does anybody have any experience with this or has anybody encountered something similar? I am clueless at this point as I have tried a lot of things to fix this and none work.
Remember: Power BI Service runs on UTC.
