I have imported a csv file into my powerbi report. I clicked on the data icon on the left side and I can see the data in the excel format. Is it possible to edit a field in the file and change its value?

Hi @Anonymous ,
According to your description, for the csv data source. There is no support for modifying its original data in power query.
The best way is to modify the data in csv directly, and then after selecting refresh in powerbi, it will synchronize the latest data.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry

I need to change my email address in this profile. Please let me know.
@Anonymous Hi,
You cannot change cells inside Power BI individually, you can maybe replace the value for something else, otherwise, you have to change it in the source, but csv shouldn'T be too hard to change it, just open it in excel and identify the cell.
