Power bi authentication
Hello All,
I have power bi server on premise and i created report for it.
I have added same report on sharepoint online page and provided access to users on reports as well.
Now when i load the sharepoint page where powerbi dashboard added it again ask for authentication, and user can login with same login used for sharepoint.
I want remove second authentication because it is same as sharepoint so why we should login again.
Is there any way to pass same login automatically to powerbi dashboard on page and page will without asking authentication.
1. Created power bi dashboard on premise
2. Granted access to all
3. Added report on page(embedded)
Users are same at onpremise and online level.
Users will only connect with Sharepoint.
Thank You

Anonymous , Have shared the file the user of the power bi service. The share point file needs to be shared with the user accessing report.

Hello amitchandak ,
User has access to Power Bi dashboard, Sharepoint online.
Below answer seems irrelevant to my question. I am asking about dual authentication.

Hi, Anonymous
For Embed in SharePoint Online reports to work, the following is required:
- A Power BI Pro license or a Power BI Premium capacity (EM or P SKU) with a Power BI license.
- The Power BI web part for SharePoint Online requires Modern Pages.
- To consume an embedded report, users must sign in to Power BI service to activate their Power BI license.
Embedding a report in SharePoint Online doesn't automatically give users permission to view the report - you need to set view permissions in Power BI.
For further information, you may refer to the document .
Best Regards
Allan
