Hi,
My dataset is hosted on Sharepoint and scheduled refresh (on Power Bi service) refreshes successfully daily. On demand refresh is also successful but I noticed that the data is not updated.
Infact, I deleted source data from Sharepoint and report (on both Service and Desktop) is not reflecting the update. The report is still showing old figures. Please, help me out.

Hi,
This is not enough info for anyone to help.
Perhaps if you post your Power Query code from the Advanced Editor that connects to SharePoint.
Make sure you mask/change any sensitive info.

HI @Ayowumi
In your code you access a SharePoint directory and filter by a file starting with the name "Community_..."
So my first questions is:
Do you have multiple of these files stored in the SharePoint directory? maybe on deeper level? When you run the script in Power Query do you see only one file as a result or multiple ones?
or another approach. How long do you wait between deletion and refresh? Sometimes you have to wait a moment.
Best regards
Michael

Doesn't seem to be anything odd in that part of the code.
Can you show the full code?
How many more steps are there?

I have about 19 steps.
Once I change the source to local drive, the report updated into recent data. I'm wondering could something be wrong with organisation's Sharepoint set up or what? It appears the report is stuck in the past (last week); as it is not picking up this week's data until I changed the source to local drive.
What do you mean by changing to local drive?
Are the file/s definitely being updated on the SharePoint site and not just locally?

The files are updated on Sharepoint.
As I was trying to troubleshoot to identify what could be wrong, I decided to copy the dataset from Sharepoint to local drive.
And the refresh was able to pick up new data.
This is a long shot and I don't expect it to work, but for the sake of troubleshooting, can you change where is says [ApiVersion = 15] to [ApiVersion = 14]?
Test refresh in Desktop and Service again.
Also, double check credentials for the dataset in the Service.

I edited the APIVersion as recommended; it still did not work. I have checked the crendentials and they are correct. I still do not have a headway on this problem.
