Hello, basically I have made a model in both the energy query and the power bi.
I have 700k lines so the power bi dax would be much faster and probably more useful for me, since the power query takes between 7 and 10 minutes to load the data.
However, my question is... since the ultimate goal of this is to make some complex charts to replicate existing ones that management is used to look at and:
I can't replicate those graphs in power bi because it's a hassle to add big totals, for example, and other things
Power bi data cannot be converted to a PivotTable (at least automatically or on the media of a cube. (Or can you?)
In case you continue with the energy consultation, because it is already done and although it was slower to build than power bi, it is the only alternative to me. Or are there ways to:
Turning data into a query in some way
Create a cube connection to automatically create PivotTables in Excel?
I hope I've made my doubts clear. Thank you
@Anonymous really not sure what exactly you are looking for? You can surely use Analyze in excel feature once your dataset is published in Power BI Service and you can use that in Excel and create all sorts of Pivot reports.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Hello,
Thanks for your answer.
That sounds like it could be my solution.
Except it's a Business computer and I dont have any permissions yet to install new software like the Microsoft Analysis Services OLE DB Provider for Excel.
Is there any way to sort it out some how?
I found a proposal which made me happy, except it didnt work, I think. (https://exceleratorbi.com.au/extract-tabular-data-power-bi-service-excel/)
