I need to create a chart to track device movement using X and Y coordinates over time for different zones. The data I have includes X coordinate, Y coordinate, Timestamp, Zones, and Device ID.
The goal is to visualize the path of each device ID over time, showing how it moves across different zones based on the X and Y coordinates.
I have already plotted a scatter plot, but now I need to create a line chart that illustrates the path each device ID has traveled over time. The line chart should show how the device moves through different zones based on the X and Y coordinates.
Hi @Arul ,
Based on the description, try to create a column to combine the X and Y coordinates.
CombinedCoordinates = CONCATENATE([X coordinate], ", ", [Y coordinate])
Then, drag the timestamp into the line chart X-axis, drag the combined column into the Y-axis, drag the device id tot the Legend and drag the zones into tooltips.
Best Regards,
Wisdom Wu

@Anonymous ,
Shared DAX formula is incorrect when I try to use in calculated column.
