Power BI upload is EXTREMELY SLOW

Hi,

I change something in my PBI file, save it, upload it - first time its fine. Then i need to change something again, but the upload takes FOREVER.

I tried clearing cache, restarting Power BI... nothing helped me.

Any tips?

Stop the refresh in the Service and then try to upload your report again

Hi @t_podmanicky, with upload you mean publishing the pbix file on the Service?

Check if your semantic model is still refreshing in the Service.

Sometimes you publish one report (and its semantic model), and the semantic model starts to refresh.
If you then publish again while the semantic model is refreshing this will slow down consistently the publishing time.
