Power BI get data navigator icons

When using the Get Data feature in Power BI, you'll notice various icons in the Navigator window. These icons indicate the type of data you are selecting.
1. Table icon (grid) - Represents a table or structured dataset that you can load or transform.
2. Document icon (single sheet/page) – Typically indicates a view or a named query.
3. Stacked icon – May represent related items like folders, schemas, or grouped queries, depending on the data source.

Thank you and sorry this is a bit delayed, but what is the differences/why would you use one and not the other (if you have mulitple options)? I have what appears to be the same table in both the table and stacked icons. Why would I use one over the other?

No problem at all regarding the delay. If you notice what appears to be the same table under both the table icon and the stacked icon, that's normal. This usually means the data source provides it in two different formats.1. The table icon gives you the raw table unaltered and ready for customization.
2. The stacked icon typically shows a grouped or logical version, such as a schema, folder, or a curated table. Sometimes, it includes additional relationships or filters.
Which one should you choose, For full control and customization, select the table version. If you're using a connector with business logic (like Dataverse or OData), the stacked version may offer more context or built in relationships.
