Sometimes when my Power BI files crash due to out of memory when opening from my network drive, Power BI will not allow me to save and automatically delete the working files on the drive. Do you know if this is a bug?
Hi @Anonymous ,
I have not encountered this situation.
What version of your Power BI Desktop?
Please check if you have installed the latest version of Power BI Desktop 2.66.5376.2521.
Best Regards,
Cherry
I am currently using December 2018 version of Power BI (32 bit), still though the previous versions I used has the same issue. I can work around this by just opening it in my local computer, and copy it back to the shared drive. I could update to the lastest version, but I doubt it will fix this.
I encountered this kind of problem before 10 months.
This is due to the latest version bug. I raised a ticket and report to microsoft for this. They asked me to use the previous version for some time and updated me once this problem got resolved.
So, Please you can use the previous version of Power BI and use it now.
Regards,
Pradeep
