Power BI connection types

Confused about this as I dont understand what type of connection it is.

  1. Start Power BI dessktop
  2. Click on blank  report
  3. Click on Get Data - Blank Query (now i am in power query editor)
  4. I click on advanced editor and write code inside to call external API's
  5. see image of some random example i found
  6. Data comes back in power query
  7. I save and go to power BI report side and create a visual

Can someone explain please.

I am aware of that but my question is still there i am confused by these types of imports

What part of "it is a Web connection" do you find confusing?

I know it is a web connection from the word iteself but I am asking what type of import is this

Is it DirectQuery, Live, or Import?

Web.Contents is always Import Mode

The important part is Web.Contents  - it is a Web connection.

You can find all connection types in your file by going to "Data Source Settings"
