HI
I need your help please, regarding this subject : Data Source connection/ On premise Gateway setup / Row level Security on MS SQL 2016 (not SSAS) / Kerberos implementation
In fact, I would like to apply T SQL MS SQL 2016 row level restriction in my PowerBI Report
But I don't know if I need to implement Kerberos security to be able to transmit the windows AD login find dynamically to MS SQL 2016 (and RLS mechanism) ?
https://docs.microsoft.com/fr-fr/power-bi/service-gateway-kerberos-for-sso-pbi-to-on-premises-data
I guess it may be this path who is followed : AAD Effective UPN in request --> Gateway and AD lookup --> provide--> local UPN -->provide--> Windows Login --> MS SQL 2016 --> T SQL RLS --> resulting lines in return
Thanks a lot and regards
Christophe
