Power BI Version Control with Sharepoint Issues access is denied
What prevents you from opening the file from the web end of the OneDrive stick?
Have you considered using check-in / check-out?
What do you expect to happen when two developers make simultaneous changes to their local copies?
Have you enabled version history on the OneDrive?
"What prevents you from opening the file from the web end of the OneDrive stick?"
I dont understand the question here. I dont know what web end of the OneDrive Stick means. I put the error above
Unable to Save Document
Access to 'C:Users\UserName\Example Company\Esample Project pbix Files\Example.pbix' is denied
"Have you considered using check-in / check-out?"
Thats the whole point of doing the above. To enable them to check in and out pbix files so again Im not sure what you mean here?
"What do you expect to happen when two developers make simultaneous changes to their local copies?"
The point to this is that they cant because one person has a lock on the file
"Have you enabled version history on the OneDrive?"
I believe we have yes

OneDrive: You can reference a file in two ways, either the local copy, or the original on the sharepoint. If you choose to reference the local copy you will run into trouble later because the service doesn't know how to get there without a (personal) gateway. So you should always reference the network instance.
Lock: unless you explicitly use check-in and check-out you cannot lock files. And even then other users can override the check-out. This is more of a communication issue between developers
DAX context: That was supposed to be a joke.
