Power BI: User input onto published visual

Hello there,                    I have created a Power BI visual whose data is direct queried from SQL DB. Is there a way to add user input priority data as a column in the published Power BI visual...

    Hi DE001 - Yes, you can add user input data such as a priority column to your Power BI visual without writing back to the SQL database. Power BI provides features such as What-If Parameters and Enter Data to facilitate user input at the visual level.

    What-If Parameter:

    Go to Modeling > New Parameter > What-if parameter.
    Set the parameters as follows:
    Name: Priority
    Data type: Whole number
    Minimum: 1
    Maximum: 10
    Increment: 1
    Default: 1
    Click OK. This will create a slicer for priority selection.
    Add the Slicer to Your Report:

    Drag the newly created Priority slicer to the report canvas.
    This slicer will allow users to select a priority level.

    SelectedPriority = SELECTEDVALUE('Priority'[Priority], 1)

    use the above measure in your visualization.
