Hi,
I have successfully built a timeline on the Power BI tool. May data X axis goes from March next year (2021) till December 2022. The x axis displays the month name only. How can i make the axis display March 2021, April 2021, May 2021 etc.
I have tried to format my dates in transform data, but this does not work.

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can use date hierarchy for the x-axis and click expand to next level:

@Anonymous , In you date table table you can have these columns
Month Year = FORMAT([Date],"mmm-yyyy")
Month Year sort = FORMAT([Date],"yyyymm")
Sort month year on Month Year sort ans use Month Year in visual - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-sort-by-column
Hi,
This is what i tried to do before (creating a month year column and then a month year sorter column).
When i put the month year column in the timeline power bi tool, it showed no data.
