Power BI Pro showing different dates compared to Desktop
Hi,
I'm having an error with one of my reports. I have a sale that was made on the 1st April and on Power BI Desktop it works fine and I have no problems with it, however when I upload it to Power BI Pro, the sale moves back a day and show the sale on the 31st March.
I had this happen once before on another report for April as well and I couldn't figure it out. I don't understand why it happens and why does it only affect April
Has this happened to anyone else, and if so what did you do?
Cheers,
Mike

Have not seen this, is this a measure or a value in a column? Could be time zone related.- michael_knight

Hi Greg_Deckler

The strange thing is that it only happens on the 1st April. I did create a date dimension that I saw onlineso I think there might be a issue with that, however that issue would arrise in Desktop.

Okay, did some testing. I create a new column with the different Timezone. I made it so it the time in the record was around 8 hours difference, I did this because my initial thought was that the time change caused a probably.
DateTimeZone.SwitchZone([Option Signed Date], +8)Here is what it looks like is desktop. This is what it should look like. The record on the bottom is the one I'm having issues with
This is what it looks like on Pro
This puzzled me even more. I had assumed it was a timezone difference but it's a 24 hour differece
Any suggestions?
