Power BI Options

Hello guys,

I am new to Power BI and my company has provided me with the Pro License. I watch lots of videos from different resources but I can see in the videos there are lots of options that I do not have them in my Power BI. For example they select a table and lots of options is added to the tool bar while I do not have them. Do you have any ideas why this is so?

The UI of Power BI Desktop has been updated. I'd like to suggest update your Power BI Desktop to the latest version and refer to the document for new features in each version.

@Anonymous , which version power bi you are using and which version of power bi the video is on. In the new versions, Office ribbon is by default, and there are options moved at different places.

@Anonymous can you take screen shot of the video and  what you see and can assist why/what is missing or why you are not seeing those options.
