Power BI, OAuth Client Credentials Flow and REST API

I wanna my app to commuincate with Power BI REST API using OAuth Client Credentials but as per below link (2017) this is not supported.

Is it still not supported or is there any alternative (I don't wanna use any flow which involve any user but I want machine to machine communication)?

My question is regarding OAuth client credential flow which does involve any user (so no human should be involved).
