Power BI Migration from Microstrategy
Hello Community.
I am asking if anyone has worked on a migration from Microstrategy to Power BI.
Now how to have the balance between :
-Create a star schema in Power BI (to keep performance)
-Give the same shape of "Attributes" of Microstrategy because the customer wants to keep the same Shape as Microstrat.

Microsoft suggests building Power BI semantic models around a star schema because it helps create models that are efficient and easy to use. The guidance calls for structuring the model with dimension tables for filtering and grouping and fact tables for summarization, while using relationships so filters can move efficiently between them. Microsoft also says that "optimal model design is part science and part art," which means the model can be adjusted when business needs warrant it. Using that guidance, you can decide how closely the Power BI model should mirror the existing MicroStrategy structure while still following star schema principles.
