Power BI Invalid Token Error Measure

Hello,

I have teh following error and i need help fixing it please. I am trying to get employee count for any selected month.

I created some data:

Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Create measure.

Measure =
IF(
    MAX('dim_date_2'[Date]) >=[Start Date]&&
    OR(MAX('dim_date_2'[Date])<=[End Date],[End Date]=BLANK()),1,0)
Measure 2 =
SUMX(ALL('dim_date_2'),[Measure])

2. Result:

Hi,
First I would define all the variables before the return statement.

You could then make the formula under the return:
if(employeeStartDate <= selectedDate && employeeEndDate >= selectedDate,1,0)

Verify that you have no extraneous parentheses (it appears that the two closing parentheses can be removed). This is a helpful tool for formatting DAX:
