I am trying to use an existing excel sheet with columns in Months but I want the power bi to use the months as the x axis and each measure as the Y

In the Power Query editor, select your first 4 columns and then under Transform > Unpivot other columns
This will give you month column that you can use on your x-axis.

You can do this pretty easily in Power BI, can you post some screenshots or provide some sample data? It's tough to understand the problem you're having right now.
Current data sample - This is data taken from a central source where various users update - i have it then synced to update each month within Power Bi to create an overall dashboard. I need the fix to automatically transform the data to create a chart similar to the below so the months are at the base.
